Стартират дейностите по одобрения проект „Създаване на майчини центрове за подобрено включване на уязвими групи в Община Ботевград и община Мездра“ по Програма „Местно развитие, намаляване на бедността и подобрено включване на уязвими групи“.
Проектът е на стойност 977 868.94 лева и се финансира по Програма "Местно развитие, намаляване на бедността и подобрено включване на уязвими групи" чрез Финансовия механизъм на Европейското икономическо Пространство 2014- 2021 г. Проектът предвижда създаване на Майчини центрове в с. Скравена, с. Литаково, община Ботевград и гр. Мездра, община Мездра, които си партнират помежду си и със СНЦ „МАГ“ – Ботевград.
Минимум 300 деца на възраст от 0 до 6 години и техните родители от ромски произход ще бъдат обхванати от дейностите на Майчините центрове, където родителите ще получават изчерпателна информация за всичко, което касае детето им и всяка дейност ще бъде предварително обсъждана и съгласувана с тях. Това ще разшири родителските им умения и вярвания по отношение на това как трябва да изглежда грижата за развитието на детето им. Друг много важен аспект на семейно-ориентирания подход ще бъде изграждането на родителски мрежи за взаимопомощ.
По проекта ще бъдат ремонтирани сгради – общинска собственост в гр. Мездра, с. Литаково и с. Скравена, които се намират в центъра на населените места и са разпознаваеми за местното население.
На 12 юли от 11:00 часа ще бъде проведена начална конференция в село Литаково, на която ще бъде представен проекта и ще присъстват кметовете на селата Литаково и Скравена и представители на Община Ботевград, Община Мездра и СНЦ „МАГ“ – Ботевград.

The Municipality of Botevgrad begins the implementation of the project "Creation of maternity centers for improved inclusion of vulnerable groups in the Municipality of Botevgrad and the Municipality of Mezdra"
The activities of the approved project "Creation of Mother centers for improved inclusion of vulnerable groups in Botevgrad Municipality and Mezdra Municipality" under the Program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups" have been launched.
The project is worth BGN 977,868.94 and is financed by Program "Local Development, Povertu Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups" through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021. The project provides for the creation of Mother Centers in the village of Skravena, the village of Litakovo /municipality of Botevgrad/ and the town of Mezdra /municipality of Mezdra/, who partner with each other and with NGO "MAG" - Botevgrad.
At least 300 children aged 0-6 and their parents from Roma origin will be covered bu the activities of the Mother centers, where parents will receive comprehensive information about everything that concerns their child and each activity will be discussed and agreed with them in advance. This will expand their parenting skills and beliefs about what caring fot their child’s development should look like. Another very important aspect of the family-oriented approach will be building of parental network for mutual assistance.
Under the project, municipally owned buildings in the town of Mezdra, the village of Litakovo and the village of Skravena, which are located in the center of the settlements and are recognizable to the local population, will be repaired.
On 12th of July, at 11:00 am, an opening conference will be held in the village of Litakovo, at which the project will be presented. Тhe conference will be attended by the mayors of the villages of Litakovo and Skravena and representatives of the Municipality of Botevgrad, the Municipality of Mezdra and NGO "MAG" - Botevgrad.
